VehiTag — Smart QR Vehicle Identification

1. Information We Collect

When you register on VehiTag, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, vehicle details (number, type, brand, model, color), city, state, and optionally your profile and vehicle photos.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to: (a) Enable QR-based vehicle identification and contact, (b) Display vehicle information when someone scans your QR code, (c) Send notifications about reports and sticker activity, (d) Improve our services.

3. Data Visibility

When someone scans your QR code, they can see your vehicle number, vehicle type, brand, model, color, and contact buttons. Your full phone number is currently visible for direct calling. We plan to introduce anonymous calling in a future update.

4. Data Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) with industry-standard encryption. We implement Firestore security rules to protect unauthorized access.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data from your dashboard settings.
